A 5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk in Honor of Maggie & Amos Meyer.
Infinity Run & Family Event: In Memory of Maggie & Amos Meyer

Maggie was a beloved daughter, friend, and colleague. She was passionate about being a mother, a daughter, a friend, and a special education teacher. She enjoyed running and working out, St. Patrick’s Day, and cheering on the Chicago White Sox. Amos had just celebrated his 3rd birthday with a Paw Patrol birthday party. He was excited to start preschool, loved to play farm, and enjoyed caring for his pet rabbit and fish. This event is to celebrate the lives that Maggie and Amos lived and all those that they impacted. All proceeds from the event, along with the memorial funds, will be placed in a scholarship fund and grants for local libraries and teachers to support learning and education for the youth in our community. To date, almost $16,000 has been donated towards classrooms, libraries, and scholarships in the name of Maggie & Amos from the proceeds of this event..
1 Mile (Moose's Mile): Untimed, looped course, mostly paved with a stretch of gravel. Strollers are welcome. Race Start: 3:30 PM
USTAF Certified 5k (Maggie's Miles): Chip timed, down and back course, mostly paved with a stretch of gravel. Medals will be awarded to top three male and female overall finishers, along with top three finishers in each age group. Strollers are welcome, but please line up behind runners. *REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPANTS 5 AND UNDER FOR 5K. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THEY WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE TIMING RESULTS. IF YOU PREFER TO HAVE THEIR TIME INCLUDED IN RESULTS, PLEASE REGISTER THEM UNDER THE 6-17 AGE GROUP. WE ONLY ASK THAT IF THEY PARTICIPATE IN THIS CATEGORY THAT THEY WALK/RUN THE ENTIRE RACE WITHOUT THE USE OF A STROLLER OR TRAILER.

Food:
Mount Morris Moose Lodge will be serving up burgers, fries, and other specialities in their special event food truck. All proceeds are being donated back to the event's efforts.
Chana Tap will be offering food and beverage specials for the day! Don't miss out on an opportunity for some cold refreshments and friendly chatter after your race! Special "After Hours' party will also occur following the event featuring music from The Cal Stage Band.
Parking:
The school parking lot will be reserved for handicapped and elderly parking. Parking lots are available at the Pine Rock Township Building at 210 West Street and at Chana United Methodist Church at 606 Main Stree. Honey Creek Road will be closed from 4:00 PM to approximately 6:00 PM, as well as Center Avenue between School Street and North Main Street from appoximately 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Pets & Wheeled Vehicles:
We kindly ask that all pets, unless a certified service animal, be kept at home. Also, bicycles, skateboards,and other wheeled vehicles will not be allowed on the course with runners/walkers. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
